Have you applied the Diversity Visa (DV) Lottery or you're hoping to apply? Let nothing discourage you from applying. It does not matter how many times you've tried this and failed. Even if you have applied multiple times, don’t give up, you will surely be selected.

Many individual have testified of even applying up to 20 times, and that is 20 years. But finally, they got selected.

If you were a selectee in the past DV lottery and did not succeed to the interview, or even if you are currently a DV-2025 winner, you still have to apply. You don't know what might happen, just apply.

How To Multiply Your Chances Of Winning DV Lottery

If you are below the age of 21, maybe you are 17 years old, 18, 19, or maybe you are above 21 years and you are married, you can increase your chances up to three times. Below are the chances that you have to increase your selection chances up to four times.

1. Apply yourself

Apply in the DV Lottery 2026, you yourself, and that will be one chance of you getting selected.

2. Your Mother Should Apply

Let your Mother enter into the lottery, let her apply. Of course, since you are her kid, she will add you as the derivative in the application. If she gets selected, then you have a chance to immigrate to the United States. That's the second chance.

3. Your Father Should Apply

Your father should also apply. Since you are his kid, then he will add you as the derivative, and that is another additional chance.

Don't let these chances just go. Let your two parents apply, by so doing, you have increased your chances to three times. You can get selected. For example, your mom can get selected and you benefit from that or your father can get selected and you benefit from that as well, or even both of them can get selected.

So ensure your parents know about this. Let them apply, even as you apply, and you will triple your chances of getting selected.

4. Your Spouse Should Apply

Each spouse can submit one entry, if each meets the eligibility requirements. If either spouse is selected, the other is entitled to apply as a derivative dependent.

Note: You must use your confirmation number to access the Entrant Status Check available on the E-DV website at dvprogram.state.gov. Entrant Status Check is the sole means by which the Department of State will notify you if you are selected, provide further instructions on your visa application, and notify you of your immigrant visa interview appointment date and time.
